Does this product come with a guarantee?
Amazonas products are covered by a manufacturer's guarantee against structural defects under normal domestic use. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by adverse weather, misuse, or failure to follow the care instructions for the material. For specific guarantee queries, contact us at sales@oakandoutdoor.co.uk and we will liaise with Amazonas on your behalf.
Is this product suitable for leaving outside all year round?
Yes, with sensible care. Amazonas frames are made from multi-layered spruce wood that is dip-impregnated to protect against weathering, insects and fungi, with galvanised metal fixings that will not rust. Cushions should be stored indoors when not in use, and we recommend moving the chair under cover or using a breathable furniture cover during extended wet or cold periods. What materials do Amazonas use?
Amazonas specialise in hanging chairs and relaxation seating built from multi-layered, weatherproofed spruce wood — dip-impregnated for outdoor protection and constructed with high-quality layered gluing. All metal fixings are galvanised, so they will not rust. Cushion covers are either Agora solution-dyed acrylic (water-repellent, mould-resistant and highly fade-resistant) or 100% cotton, depending on the product and colour chosen. Does this product come assembled or flat-packed?
Amazonas hanging chairs and seats arrive flat-packed with clear instructions and all fixings included — assembly is straightforward for one to two people. Please note that hanging chairs require either a suitable stand (sold separately) or secure fixing points rated for the chair's stated load capacity. What if my product arrives damaged or develops a fault?
Contact us at sales@oakandoutdoor.co.uk within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photographs of the issue. Within 30 days of delivery you are entitled to a full refund, replacement, or repair. We liaise with
Amazonas on your behalf throughout. Please retain all packaging and components until your claim is fully resolved.
What is the returns process if I change my mind?
