About Oak & Outdoor
The British garden deserves better.
Oak & Outdoor exists because good garden furniture is surprisingly hard to buy well online. Plenty of retailers list it. Very few tell you who made it, what it's actually made of, or whether it will still be standing in five years.
We started this because we'd been burned by the alternative — furniture bought on price that looked tired by its second autumn and embarrassing by its third spring. Made to a price, not made to last. We knew better products existed; they just weren't being sold properly online. So we decided to do it ourselves.
Who we are
Oak & Outdoor is a family business, launched in 2026 and based in the UK. We're not a marketplace and we're not a catalogue — we're a specialist. Garden furniture and outdoor living is our only focus, chosen deliberately, with a clear view of what belongs in a British garden and what doesn't.
We sell online at oakandoutdoor.co.uk and work with UK trade suppliers whose products we'd put in our own garden. Our background is ecommerce, so we understand the online side — the technology, the customer journey, the small things that build trust and the ones that quietly break it. That's what we bring to a category that's been underserved online for too long.
What we sell
Garden furniture — dining sets, seating, benches, and bistro sets in acacia, rattan, and weatherproof materials, sourced from UK suppliers who build for the British climate.
Garden bars & BBQ tables — outdoor entertaining pieces built to stay outside and stand up to real use, not just look good in a photograph.
Garden accessories — the finishing touches that complete an outdoor space: covers, cushions, and everything else that belongs outside.
It all connects to the same idea: your outdoor space is an extension of your home, and it deserves to be treated that way.
How we choose what we sell
The supplier must be credible. We want to know who made the product, where, and how — a name and a track record, not an anonymous listing.
The materials must be honest. On timber, we look for FSC or PEFC certification as a baseline, not a marketing bonus. Across every range, we want construction that holds up and warranties that mean something.
The quality must hold up. Not in a showroom or a photograph — in a British garden, through a British winter, used by a real family. That's the test.
What we promise you
We'll tell you who made what you're buying and what it's made of. We'll be honest about delivery timelines. And we'll respond to any question or problem within four business hours — because we're a small business and your experience is our reputation.
We won't list a product we wouldn't buy ourselves, we won't make a claim we can't back up, and we'll never treat a complaint as an inconvenience.
