Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order with Oak & Outdoor. By purchasing from oakandoutdoor.co.uk, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.

These Terms & Conditions form a legally binding agreement between you (the customer) and Oak & Outdoor (the trader). They comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.

2. Placing an Order

When you place an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase the product(s) at the stated price. A contract between us is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline any order — for example if a product is out of stock or if we suspect fraudulent activity.

By placing an order you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years of age

The personal and payment information you provide is accurate and complete

You are authorised to use the payment method provided

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on oakandoutdoor.co.uk are in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable. The total price — including any delivery charges — will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase. We do not add any charges at checkout that were not shown on the product page or in your basket.

We accept the following payment methods:

Credit and debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) — processed securely by Stripe

        PayPal

        Apple Pay and Google Pay

Klarna (Buy Now Pay Later) — subject to eligibility and Klarna's own terms

Payment is taken at the time of order. We use Stripe for card processing — your full card details are never stored by Oak & Outdoor. All transactions are encrypted via SSL.

5. Returns, Cancellations and Your Right to Cancel

As a consumer purchasing online, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Your right to cancel:

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods — for any reason, without giving an explanation. This is your statutory cooling-off period.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of receipt:

Email us at sales@oakandoutdoor.co.uk with your order number and confirmation that you wish to cancel

We will acknowledge your cancellation within 2 business days and arrange collection or return

Return conditions:

Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging where possible

You are responsible for the cost of return delivery unless the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described

We recommend using a tracked delivery service for returns — we cannot accept liability for items lost in return transit

Refunds:

We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return, whichever is sooner

Refunds are made to your original payment method

If you choose to return an item after the 14-day cooling-off period, we are not obliged to accept the return unless the item is faulty

Faulty or damaged goods:

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If your order arrives damaged or develops a fault:

Within 30 days of delivery: you are entitled to a partial or full refund, or a replacement, of which is your choice.

To report a fault or damage, please email sales@oakandoutdoor.co.uk with your order number and photos of the issue. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

6. Product Information

We take care to ensure all product descriptions, dimensions, and images on our website are accurate. However, slight variations in colour may occur due to differences in monitor display settings. Product photographs are for illustrative purposes.

Where products are supplied by our trade partners, the manufacturer's product specifications, guarantees, and warranties apply. Details of any manufacturer guarantee are stated on the relevant product page.

If a product is out of stock after you have placed an order, we will contact you within 2 business days to offer an alternative, a revised delivery date, or a full refund.

7. Guarantees and Warranties

Many products in our range come with manufacturer guarantees. The specific guarantee applicable to each product is stated on its product page.

Guarantees cover manufacturing defects and material failures under normal use. They do not cover:

Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or failure to follow care instructions

        Normal wear and tear

Damage caused by weather conditions beyond ordinary British weather

Modifications made to the product after purchase

These guarantees are in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and do not affect them.

8. Our Liability to You

We are responsible to you for foreseeable loss and damage caused by us. If we fail to comply with these terms or act negligently, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure.

We are not responsible for:

Loss or damage that is not foreseeable at the time of contract

Business losses — our products are for domestic and personal use only

Delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, industrial action, or supplier disruption

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
