Care & Maintenance

Wood care: The FSC certified acacia hardwood is protected with a PU coating. Wipe down with a soft cloth and mild soapy water — avoid pressure washers, abrasive cleaners and solvents, which can damage the coating. Check the finish annually; if it begins to look dull or worn, a light application of a suitable exterior furniture treatment will refresh the protection.

Rope weave: The half-round rope weave on the Sol chairs is weather-resistant — brush off loose dirt and wipe with mild soapy water as needed. Allow to dry naturally.

Tabletop: The sunray slats allow rainwater to drain naturally rather than pooling — an occasional wipe-down is all that is needed.

Winter care: Use a breathable furniture cover or move the set under cover during extended wet or cold periods. Avoid fully sealed plastic covers, which trap condensation against the timber. If your set includes cushions, store them indoors when not in use.
