Can this gazebo stay outside year-round?

Yes — built from robust grey hammered steel designed for permanent outdoor use. We strongly recommend closing the canopy during extreme weather conditions such as heavy rain and high winds.

Is the canopy waterproof?

The canopy is showerproof with drainage holes to prevent water pooling on the surface. It provides reliable protection from light to moderate rain. Close the canopy during heavy downpours or high winds.

How does the canopy open and close?

The canopy is secured to the frame rails via hooks and can be manually opened and closed as needed. No tools are required to adjust it.

What size is the Prague?

A square 3.5 x 3.5m footprint on 60 x 60mm grey hammered steel posts. For a rectangular alternative, the San Remo gazebo in 2.75 x 3.66m is also available in our garden accessories range.

Care & Maintenance

The grey hammered steel frame and showerproof canopy are built for year-round outdoor use with simple seasonal care.

Frame: Wipe the steel posts down with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Inspect the hammered finish once or twice a season and treat any chips or scratches through to bare metal promptly to prevent rust taking hold.

Canopy: The 200g/m² PU-coated polyester canopy is showerproof and has drainage holes to stop water pooling. Keep the drainage holes clear of leaves and debris. Sponge clean with mild soapy water only — avoid detergents or pressure washers, which strip the PU coating. Let the canopy dry before closing for long periods to prevent mildew.

Weather: Close the canopy in heavy rain and high winds to protect both the canopy and the frame. Check all fixings and the canopy hooks are secure at the start of each season and after any storm.
