The Reversible Geometric Green Rug carries a structured geometric pattern on both faces, so you get two usable sides and can flip it to even out wear. At 1350 gr/m² with a 5mm pile it is more substantial than a lightweight outdoor flatweave, and it comes in the widest size range we stock — from an 80x150cm mat through to a 240x340cm.

Is this a garden rug or an indoor rug?

Both — it is an indoor-outdoor crossover rug. It is weather resistant and copes well on a patio or balcony, but it is designed to work equally indoors, so it does not need to live outside permanently the way a dedicated garden rug does.

What does reversible mean in practice?

Both faces are finished and usable, so you get two looks from one rug and can flip it to even out wear. Clean and dry both sides when washing.

What size do I need?

It comes in a runner format as well as standard rectangles, up to a generous 240x340cm, so it suits everything from a hallway to a large lounge or seating area. For a dining table, allow room for chairs to stay on the rug when pulled out.

Can I use it with underfloor heating?

Yes, the backing is suitable for underfloor heating, so it works over a heated indoor floor as well as on a patio.

How do I clean it?

Wipe clean with a damp cloth for everyday marks, or hose it down and let it drain for a deeper clean. Dry fully on both sides before laying it back down. No bleach, no pressure washers, no machine washing.

Care & Maintenance

This is an indoor-outdoor polypropylene rug. It is weather resistant and copes well outdoors, but it is designed to work equally indoors — so it does not need to live outside permanently the way a dedicated garden rug does.

Routine cleaning

Wipe clean with a damp cloth for everyday marks. For a deeper clean, or after outdoor use, hose it down and let it drain, or use a soft brush with warm water and mild washing-up liquid. Rinse thoroughly so no soap residue is left behind. Being reversible, clean and dry both faces.

Drying

Lay flat or hang over a rail until completely dry on both sides before putting it back down. Never roll or store it damp.

What to avoid

No bleach, no solvent cleaners, no pressure washers at close range. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

Underfloor heating

The backing is suitable for underfloor heating, so it works over a heated indoor floor as well as on a patio.

Outdoor use

If you use it outdoors, the same rules as any outdoor rug apply: lift it periodically to let the surface underneath dry, clear leaves promptly in autumn, and bring it in or store it dry over winter to extend its life. The colours resist fading but are not UV proof in prolonged direct sun.
