The Buttermere 8x6 is a bright, elegant timber summerhouse from Shire, built in the UK as a welcoming garden retreat. Double doors and two large opening windows fill the interior with light, making it an inviting space for relaxing, entertaining or a garden getaway. Solid 12mm shiplap cladding on sturdy 34 x 34mm framing, with traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery to the doors and windows, gives it a well-finished, weather-ready feel. Supplied dip-treated in a base coat, ready for your own top coat.

Every building comes with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty as standard, plus a conditional 10-year anti-rot guarantee against timber decay and insect attack. Buildings arrive pre-treated with a water-based coat for transit only; to keep the anti-rot cover valid, apply a high-quality spirit-based timber preservative shortly after installation and re-treat annually.
