The Shire Adventure Peaks Fortress 2 is a children's play fort built for hours — and days and weeks — of outdoor adventure. Part of Shire's play equipment range, it's designed to get children climbing, clambering and playing outside, with safety built in throughout.
Made from FSC-certified timber and dip-treated, the Fortress is built to a high standard with chunky, easy-to-grab handles and colourful screw-cap covers over the fixings for safety. It carries the CE mark and complies with BS EN 71, the toy safety standard, and helps children build physical confidence as they play.

Every building comes with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty as standard, plus a conditional 10-year anti-rot guarantee against timber decay and insect attack. Buildings arrive pre-treated with a water-based coat for transit only; to keep the anti-rot cover valid, apply a high-quality spirit-based timber preservative shortly after installation and re-treat annually.
