Bars at Home provides a dual-layer warranty focused on weather protection, offering a 10-year guarantee specifically on their colored, stained finishes alongside a 5-year anti-rot guarantee for the timber itself. These protections are designed to shield the hand-built pallet wood from the elements, but they only apply to bars purchased with one of their professional colored finishes; if you opt for a bare, "Natural" wood finish, you are expected to seal and protect the timber yourself to keep it weatherproof

Care & Maintenance

Wood care: Wipe down with a soft brush or damp cloth as needed — avoid pressure washers. Apply an exterior wood preservative or protective oil once a year to keep the timber protected and looking its best.

Interlock joints: Check the interlock joints seat fully and squarely at the start of each season. Timber naturally moves slightly with the seasons — reseating the joints keeps everything solid.

Winter care: The tool-free design makes winter storage easy — take the stools apart and store flat in a dry shed or garage, or keep them under a breathable cover. Avoid leaving timber legs in standing water or on permanently wet ground.
