Does this come with a guarantee?

Bars at Home provides a dual-layer warranty focused on weather protection, offering a 10-year guarantee specifically on their colored, stained finishes alongside a 5-year anti-rot guarantee for the timber itself. These protections are designed to shield the hand-built pallet wood from the elements, but they only apply to bars purchased with one of their professional colored finishes; if you opt for a bare, "Natural" wood finish, you are expected to seal and protect the timber yourself to keep it weatherproof

Care & Maintenance

Finish care: The distressed, weathered finish is hand-applied and part of the design — avoid sanding or abrasive cleaning. Wipe down with a soft, damp cloth, and apply a clear exterior wood oil or wax annually if kept outdoors to protect the timber without losing the character.

Counter care: Wipe spills promptly, particularly if used as a working cocktail station — citrus and spirits can mark untreated timber if left to sit.

Use outdoors: If kept outside, position under shelter where possible and use a breathable furniture cover during wet periods — this bar's finish stays at its best with some protection from the elements.

Winter care: Store indoors or in a dry outbuilding over winter if possible. The five-panel construction can be disassembled for compact storage.
