# Barclay Summerhouse | Glazed Double Door Shiplap Timber Summerhouse

The Barclay is a charming timber summerhouse from Shire, built in the UK as a bright garden retreat. Glazed double doors and fixed joinery windows fill the space with light, making it ideal for seating, a garden room or a quiet hideaway. Available in three sizes, with solid 12mm shiplap cladding for a well-finished, weather-ready feel.

Made from FSC-certified timber and dip-treated as standard, the Barclay is built to handle the British weather with a little routine care.

Timber is a natural product; we recommend treating your building on arrival and periodically thereafter to protect it and maintain its life. Your summerhouse will need a firm, level base — concrete, paving slabs or a timber frame — as grass, soil or gravel will shift under the weight.
